They're all so cute! Like the little girl in the cupcake costume! MaS, it would be a lot of work to have to decorate a lot of cupcakes professionally!

Oh my goodness, I was rereading my post above LuvsDaisys, and my comment that she quoted about my neph I must edit. Don't know where I was when I typed it out. I meant to say that my nephew, the college professor at Bucknell, not the "college student", although he did go to college there a number of yrs ago. Now he's a professor there! And re college students, there are the slackers, but also the flip side -- those who go to college who are serious about their education and their

I don't watch too many of those cooking programs anymore! Don't know who Anthony Bourdain is. I don't really care for Paula Deen and her cooking shows, or most of these "new" foodnetwork cooks and chefs. I miss the chefs like Lydia who is the Italian chef. I didn't like Julia Childs too much but she was the forerunner of all these tv cooking shows. I did like that French guy, forgot his name. There is another one of that bunch but can't think of him. Hi Posynut! Glad you're joining in here! I like reading Yankee Magz for some reason, too. I guess I like the "earthy" feel of the stories and whatnot. Also like LLBean. I had the opportunity to actually go there once a long time ago. Been to Maine a # of x's and I really like ME. Did some travelling in VT and lived in MA for a little while. We used to go to VT to do some xcountry skiing there.

Absolutely gorgeous today here, too! Temps in the low 80s, currently the low 70s! Bright blue sky here also, and bright sunshine, low humidity. Feels like Fall!

Also try ehow.com for tips on fixing your machine. They might have some tips on fixing your particular model of sewing machine at the manufacturer's website. Googling might lead you to the right tips for fixing it yourself. Yep, I'd try oiling and cleaning it, taking the bobbin case apart, getting the right kind of sewing needles for the projects you're working on. I need to get some better sewing mach needles myself! I bought some cheapy ones and I think they've been gunking up the

PP, I have a friend who ran for state rep in her district and won. I don't think she spent that much of her own money, though. Her supporters footed most of the bill. I think she has climbed up in office over the yrs. The politicians get sooo many perks and benefits, that I think it's more about the limelight and the perks, rather than the salaries. They get a lot of freebies, too, even though I don't think they're supposed to take gifts! But what bothers me is how much it costs to
