I'm a big fan of the hummers myself. More importantly I am a staunch defender of songbird enemies foreign and domestic. I have a site on HOSP control and I would love to have you as a part of it. You're educated and patient, the perfect combination.

Just got with this group and wanted to say hello since I am in Waxahachie, Tx.

I live in north Texas and have been feeding hummers for many years. I have recently noticed bags of sugar in the grocery stores that just say "sugar". No where does it say pure cane sugar. I am wondering if this sugar is beet sugar. I heard that beet sugar is not what hummers want. No one in the store seems to know. There are bags of sugar that say 100% pure cane sugar. Do you know if this "sugar" could be beet sugar or cane sugar? Thanks
You seem very seem to know i lot about hummers! I envy that!
