I love, love, love to garden for wildlife- preferrably for birds and butterflies.
I enjoy feeding and watching birds all year long.
Hobbies outside of gardening and bird watching include: jewelry making, card making, scrapbooking, and reading.
Favorite classic television programs include: Andy Griffith and Everybody Loves Raymond. Favorite current television programs include: Ugly Betty, LOST, and Grey's Anatomy. My favorite guilty pleasure television programs are: Big Brother, Dancing with the Stars, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, and my life long obsession DAYS OF OUR LIVES.
Favorite cable channels I can get SO lost at are: the Science Channel, the History Channel, QVC, and the National Geographic Channel.
My favorite magazine is easily Birds and Blooms (Extra too).
I enjoy most sports - as a spectator. Since my son was 3 yrs. old and fascinated by Michael Jordan, we've been Chicago Bulls fans. This has consumed a big part of our lives!
My husband and I have been married for almost 27 yrs. We have two grown children who were born in South Korea and came home to us in 1988. They're the lights of our lives! I help pay our bills by substitute teaching, tutoring, and as a classroom aide at the elementary school our children attended. So I guess you could say I enjoy children about as much as I do gardening and bird watching. Since I can't get paid to do the last two, it's a good thing the other things have worked out for me - so far. LOL!
It's been great getting to know folks here on the boards and I look forward to making more flower and bird friends.
