I am Michigan born and bred! Zone 5 Hubby and I both love working in our yard and garden together. We just bought our home 2.5 years ago. Our backyard was a field and now it's a yard with a garden and some landscape. It's coming along pretty well and we'll be so excited when it's completed! The inside of the home is coming along as well . . 1 more room to go and that's the kitchen! Then onward to our basement! We both love taking care of ourselves, our feathered friends and little Zoey our 3 year old papillon. Country living, being self sufficient, and getting off the grid is our goal!
My hobbies are quilting, gardening and making things from paper. My ultimate favorite though is quilting. It allows me to be creative, disciplined and giving. I enjoy making quilts, giving them to my family and friends. I love my life, living each day and I wouldn't change a thing.
