Several years ago we moved to a couple of acres on a country road in upstate NY. We have added a small pond and even lots more trees, bushes and flowers. After hanging a few feeders, we were enchanted by the response of all the birds we could see from our very large windows.
We armed ourselves with one bird book after another, more and more camera and observational equipment, and information gathered from local, knowledgeable birders. I decided to chronicle our thoughts and experiences on a website. Lots of photos and information on our birds and the other critters who share our yard are updated and added to as new yard stuff happens.
