I live in Western Pa., the same town my whole life. I live out in a country setting with open fields and woods. My husband keeps a huge path area mowed down to the woods and the large area of brush and weeds there house all of the native birds. It is such a wonderful nature walk. Last year was the first year I started to feed the birds, so all of these come over and visit daily. Thanks to this BB group, I now know how to take care of the BB, and know the history of the HOSP.
I have 4 children, 2 out on their own and 2 grandsons. I have two dogs an 18 year old Persian cat, and the worst Donkey in the world. My beloved goat died a few years ago, he had eaten all of the flower beds and small trees. So after 15 years I have restarted all of the gardens and they have brought such joy to the birds. I planted everything that attracted the wildlife. And of course Donkey supplied the good manure for them to grow.
I have driven school bus now for over 32 years, which is the best job, I don't have to dress up, thank goodness because I am always dirty!
