that my lawn service was just here to cut the grass on a holiday!!! I asked the one fella, who has always impressed me, how come he wasn't at a party somewhere and he said he'd rather earn the money!!!! WHAT???!!!!
I tried to see if he had a ring on his finger as I have a few young ladies in mind that need to know someone other than a slacker. LOL
I asked him what they would have done if we were BBQing and he said they'd just go on to the next client on the schedule. Plus he said it eases the next day's schedule so they're not rushed through each job tomorrow to cover those not done today. Not to mention, the over-time for those guys that wanted to work the holiday.
Lets see............my neighbor's daughter....2 of my grand daughters........a grand niece........yep, I've a few candidates for a guy that's not afraid of working.
and then he'll turn out to be gay :o(
That is amazing that they were working on such a big holiday. Probably they were getting good holiday pay, too! I bet that he was married or trying to pay for his college.
