The hummers are busy at the feeder and there is a turkey cleaning up under the big bird feeder!

And I don't live out in the country, so turkeys are not usually seen at bird feeders.  Anyway, I appreciate the clean-up crew, whether it's mourning doves or turkeys!

Joanne, It is so funny that you have a turkey hanging around.  LOL!

I live in the country and they refuse to enter my yard.

My clean up crew is usually squirrels.  Sometimes Mourning Doves, if they're around.  I just saw my 1st hummer for the year this evening.  I don't know where they've been.

My clean up crew is the young geese and their parents................. I hate the messes they leave though.

Hey Gayle, glad to see you here......... come over more often.....

My sons workplace has fields around it and for two days I noticed these dark things out in the field but they were to far away but then they finally came closer to the highway and I saw where they were turkeys. Neat! My clean up crew are the doves and the squirrels too.

The only "stupid" questions are those you don't ask. That's what we're here for. And if one of us doesn't know the answer, or, at least have a good guess, we can point you to someone who does. As I told Donna/"dzyg" the other day: "I try to learn something new everyday" and I've been bird-watching for over 20 years.
