Hi to everyone this dreary morning! Friday, the end of the work week for some of you.
Hi to Lil, Kate, Jan, Dee, Gary, Stella; where are all of you. Some haven't tuned in lately......Hi to Elaine, our staunch supporter. Hope all are doing good these days.
Unsure just what I am doing today, but sure I will find something. Must think of something to cook today and change a bed, too. What is everyone else doing today, cooking, baking, cleaning, ????
I did find a small 3 ft. tree for my table in livingroom to decorate. Think that will be our tree in there this year! I haven't ordered a wreath yet I usually buy my DS and wife for their place. I noticed my neighbor has a large one up on their garage between their garage doors; looks nice. First time they have ever put one up. I gave a lot of wreaths away when I was getting rid of some stuff this past Fall. The ones I have ordered, really hold up and are green till Spring on the breezeway door; could decorate for Easter if I wanted to. It just seems so early, but I know it really isn't.

Good morning everyone, sunny 48* here going to 58*, have to rake some ornamental pear tree leaves up, they turned a pretty dark red colour!,the heron returned at my side of the pond so went out and took photo of him when he was flying away! Mary in Ky 9.47am

A nice warm sunshiny day here with a high of 72....Not too bad for the middle of Nov..
I have a ton of laundry to do after my trip and I have to go get groceries as there is hardly anything in the house to eat..After shopping I need to get my Jeep washed and vacumed out.It is funny how dirty vehicles can get after a trip especially with a toddler on board.
There are also a ton of leaves to be raked and burned but that will probably have to wait until tommorrow...Sometimes I wish we wouldn't have bought the 2 extra lots!! I do have to go out to the greenhouse and get the plants watered as they haven't had any for 2 weeks..
I hope everyone has a chance to check in and let us know how they are doing.I will check in tonight but for now had better get busy or I will sit here all day....Jan
Hi team! Hope to see more of ya here today! Not raining but boy is it cloudy and gloomy. I'm kinda in limbo...a friend wants to go to a flea market in our area but haven't heard from her yet. If so I'm gonna try to get Michael to go too and get him out for a bit. The Dr. called and has reordered blood work and scan...just not happy with what he found I guess. That gets him down so I thought getting him out might cheer him up since the sun sure isn't.
We stayed up playing Rummy and sbnacking on the neighbors apples he keeps giving us... boy are they as sweet as sugar this year!

Jan..YEA that you had a good time in FL! Albeit a very long drive.
It used to be at Disney World you could smoke where ever. There were staff that were always cleaning up the butts. Then when my sis, her DH and I went in 2003 there were designated smoking areas, John and I hunted for them. Now I wouldn't care. Just like not caring to find a smoking area in an airport.

Hello Faithful Posy & Friends - good to see you all here. Posy, you're cookiing?? It is lazy here today, had parent / teacher visitation Wed. night with lots of stairs and it got me and my 'new knee'. Noon dinner was baked beans with bacon and hamburg, molasses and brown sugar added with rolls - this aft because it was raining, was a meeting place for farmers - good chit-chat. Gd suggested toasted cheese / tomatoe sandwiches for supper - sounds good to me!
Jan - remember laundry always patiently waits for us - bet you are really glad of those two lots though, so no one can build up close to you - as for the leaves, am hoping mine blow away, but have no close neighbours to complain. Dee - hope your friend and Michael were able to go and have a look / see. Nice to see what others have to offer. Special hugs!
Kate - glad you are still doing great - and very often I get 'processing error' from BYC, after trying to post. Don't know what's with that. Mary - aren't the herons such a stately bird, but oh, do they like fishing! Ds has a pond with trout in it, and the herons enjoy their feast. Doesn't make ds too happy - maybe some year we will string clear fishing line in the shallow end, supposed to discourage them from fishing.

Well I got all of my chores taken care of for the day and now I plan to relax the rest of the evening..It has been a pretty good day.
Where are Gary,Lil and Stella? I don't think I have seen them post since I got back.I hope everything is o.k. with them and they will check in.
We had a beautiful day today and of course that is followed by rain tommorrow but at least it is not cold so no complaints here..I hope you all have a nice evening and I will see ya'll tommorrow..Jan

Elaine, we did go but he stayed in my car. He's still very unsteady...just not a good day for him today anyway.~~~sigh
My friend and I had a good time anyway. I got a picture...I couldn't resist it has a antique look with a antique girl like my Mama loved. It says meet me to-night in dreamland. I already have it hung in my bedroom...quite adorable!
Tomorrow...another girls day out. I've made a great friend. Trying to get out...move on I guess.

Dee, glad Michael went with you even if he didn't get out - he can always 'people watch' and even a change of scenery is good.
