Just had one land on my tray feeder right after a mourning dove and bluejay left. It is the first one I have seen this year. They are around here just not a regular at my feeder like the other birds are. They 're such a pretty bird. I need to refill my suet feeders so the woodpeckers will come back; usually have a lot of them daily at the feeders and they are colorful so I enjoy them, too.
Love to watch the birds! Just bought a new squirrel proof feeder at TCS the other day, too, some safflower seed and 12 cakes of suet for $10.00.
Let every day be a good day!
I usually buy the box of suet cakes which have 9 or so in a box and then I have them on hand. I think they are 8 or 9 dollars year round. These were sold loosely and on a special sale. I like the woodpecker suetcakes the best.
Those grackles are driving me nuts.....I thought they would leave by now.
Just so folks know the bird we are talking about.
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak.

Wow! Another beautiful bird we don't have out here!
Be the change you wish to see in the world.
I rarely see them. These are the first two I have seen in a long time. Like 2 years! please click on photo to view whole image. Thanks
