This the first nasturtium I've had to bloom this year.
Reminds me, I haven't sown my nasturtium seeds yet.
Irish Eyes Rubeckia today.
My Nasturtium have started to bloom but I haven't been able to get a good picture of them yet.
Wendy I'm glad you posted this picture. I started seeds I got from Del & they are just about ready to open. Now I know what I have to look forward too. I can't wait to see them open.
Let's take a break from Daylilies & see what else I have.
Chinese House. I hope to get some seeds from this & have more next year.
Cleome
1st Coneflower for 2012. I seem to have a color theme going here. LOL
euphorbia foliage starting to whiten
Steve, love the bright orange in your Nasturtiums.........still want that red onion your posted :-)
Wendy, very pretty Rudbeckia.
Gayle....hoping my Chinese Pagodas make it, they are looking pretty frail all but two in another area. Yours are the same colour as mine. Did you get them from the seed train? I remember mailing some out but it may have been to individuals not sure. Also waiting patiently for my Cleome to grow and bloom...love your coneflower as well.
Foxgloves blooming, 3rd year in a row for this plant....lost others due to wet spring I believe.
Donna
Kathy, we were both posting at the same time... :-) Guess you can't sleep either :-(
Love your euphorbia foliage, nice contrast in the garden...
Donna :-)
No, Donna I bought the seeds from one of the seed companies or maybe E-Bay.
That's cool Gayle, I can't wait for mine to bloom....like I said a few might now make it but I do have some healthy ones in another spot.....they are so dainty, love them...
Too bad they are an annual, well for my area anyway....also wonder if there are different colours!!!
Third try to do this:
Callas blooming, this one is the first time it has ever bloomed:
I really like the Calla lillies might have to put them on the wish list. Here is my first phlox. It seems early but with this weather who knows.I'll take any flower any time.Sandy
Foxgloves reseed themselve, or you can drye the seeds and put them on the places you want it, we have the pink and white one al over the garden. If you want some seeds send me a pm with your ad.
Steve, my nasturtiums aren't blooming yet, but I hope to see some soon.
Love the Irish Eyes. I started some from seeds from Del, but I guess they have reverted. The eyes are a lighter color than the BES, but not green. I love them anyway.
Don't know what this is. I think someone posted a similar one way back when, but don't remember what it was. It was obviously in a pack of wf seeds. There are 2 of these in that bed, and this is the first to bloom. Kind of looks like a BES, but the leaves are bigger and the plant is shorter.
Molly, I love callas, but they never seem to last more than a year or so, so I had to give up on them.
Leslie these have been in the ground for 5 years. The big one usually has a green/white bloom but this year it is white with a pinkish tint. The red one never has bloomed until this year and that is a big surprise. I have a few more that might or might not bloom this year. But they all need dividing.
Love seeing everyone else's blooms since I really done have any however the hen and chick in the rock in front of the back perennial bed are doing great this year. These are the only ones I could leave when I started cleaning that bed. Have more to put back in once it is done.
If you look closely they have a friend laying there in front of them but no friend of mine.
Steve nice nasturtium. I had planned on having the climbing ones in my back deck boxes this year but I guess I can't grow them. Planted 25 seed and have I think 5 that germinated. Not very happy.
