Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing15 Saltines2 cups Dryminced parsley flakes1/2 cup Dryminced onion2 tablespoons Dry dill weed1/4 cup Onion salt1/4 cup Garlic salt1/4 cup Onion powder1/4 cup Garlic powderSalad Dressing:1 tablespoon Mix1 cup Mayonnaise1 cup Buttermilk
Put crackers through blender on high speed until powdered.Add parsley, minced onions, and dill weed.Blend again until powdered.Dump into bowl.Stir in onion salt, garlic salt, onion powder, and garlic powder.Put into container with tight fitting lid.Store dry mix at room temperature for 1 year.Makes 42 1 tablespoon servings.To use mix Combine mix, mayonnaise, and buttermilk.

I make my own that is similar, except I don't use the saltines. Why would you need them?
To add more powdery bulk? or to add salt? Although your adding garlic salt and onion salt,, I guess you could use the unsalted saltine,?? If too much salt for you.. Not sure why the saltines either,,
Wait, i think i know why now... To make the dressing thicker.. when you add the buttermilk and mayo...?
