I make my own sugar and water nectar.  Can you store it in the frig for any length of time?  I found a container of it way in the back of the refrigerator (forgot it was there). I think I put it in there three weeks ago or more.  Can I still use it?

Thanks.

I keep mine in the fridge all the time........sometimes 2 or 3 weeks.........I usually only make 4 cups ahead that way it doesnt last that long...........

I occasionally have some left from one year to the next.  Hummers don't seem to care.

Hey Jackie

The standard recommendation among hummingbird banders is up to two weeks if it is in a sealed container.
