I forgot that I got one last year from Alco. I found him in our garden shed yesterday.  Cute little bugger.  I never liked them before because to me, they used to look creepy.

Where do you get yours and how many do you have?

Speaking of gnomes ............what ever happened to the one that they were passing around on this board........where Oh where did he end his days?

I don't have any myself....gnomeless.....unless you count my brothers family (cheap shot)

I think they are neat looking especially in the flower beds.  I have many ornaments for outdoors but haven't put any out yet.  Some are getting cracked and have holes in them.  Think stones from lawnmower do the damage.  I have animal ornaments, little people, a Mickey mous planter and a little girl planter, turtles, squirrels, frogs, etc.

Let every day be a good day!

I used to love gnomes, but now I tolerate them.  I suppose in a couple of years I will like them again.  I have three now.

gnomes are great--if you let them they will do housework for you, except for the lazy ones

Life is short, eat dessert first!

I have a plastic one that is suppose to light up but it takes so many batteries that he just doesn't shine anymore! He still sits out front though.

I like little garden fairies, and prop them up in unusual places where they might surprise a passer-by. I have winged and unwinged fairies, male and female. Never know when or where one of those little sprites might show up ....

My DGD is in Finland at Turku Univ. this semester. She took a small gnome (about 4" tall) and she takes a picture of him everplace she goes. Such as the airport, on a ferry, at the library, etc. When she was in Oslo Norway, she found 3 in a gift shop that looked exactly like "Barnaby". He really does make her pictures more interesting.

I LOVE gnomes! I only had one in my yard but he was cute. DD has him now and has even given him a name. LOL My nephew collects gnomes and nutcrackers. His entire bedroom is filled with both. How crazy is that?

But if I ever had a yard again, THIS is what I'd love to put in my garden.
