Where is my pix that I posted in challenge?

I was wondering if all pix get posted that are entered into challenges and where do I find them? Does this take time? Also I have my name printed on my pix should I remove this before i submit them into challenges?  Thanks!

They usually send you a confirmation if they put it in..Then you have to go way towards the end of the photos to find it, unless they give you a link. That is why I haven't done it for a while, so many photos that it is hard to find your own.

Give it time, sometimes it takes a while for them to get back to you if they have too many being sent in.

Hi Beetlestone--Sherry is right. It can take a while for a decision to made on the Photo Challenge photos. It will especially take a while these days because of the holidays and our time off. So please be patient. I'm going to paste below what I wrote on another thread when someone asked a similar question:

If you look at the Photo Challenge homepage, you'll see a little disclaimer that explains how it works. Here's what it says:

NOTE: Some entries may get published, but will not appear in the playlist. You can always view your published photo online by following the link in your confirmation email or by using the search function on the right hand side of the page. If you want to share your photo with friends and family, click on your photo and use the "email a friend" portion on the right hand side.

So basically, if you get an email that says it's been accepted, it doesn't mean it will appear in the playlist, but it will still be available for viewing by following the link in the email. Let me know if you have other questions!

It seems to me B&B should get some help!

I got this in my email when I asked a similar question to the editors recently.

Please understand that it takes time for us to review each photo. And not every photo will make it into the playlist. Keep in mind we receive hundreds of submissions each day and it takes a LOT of time for one person to look at and make a decision on each photo. Also, it will take even longer in the coming months because of the holidays and our time off. We cannot offer reasons for why a photo is or is not accepted, it is just beyond our means. This contest is for fun, to get some of our readers' photos on our site, and we can only accept a limited number of them. So please be patient with us.

My response was:

Maybe you should get some extra help... after all you are a major magazine and a popular one too.
Proof of that is not only what you said below, but a email from a member, Mike Duncan, who has a couple pictures in you magazine in the past:
(he is a friend of mine)

To get in the Magazine you have to Submit your Story with a Photo, it takes
a Long Time to Find out if Your Image Made it. About Six Months. Take a
Good Photo and Write a Good Story and Pray Somebody Reads it. I think it
is just Luck, I Don't Think they Have Time to Read Through all the Submissions.
