Coffee  There won't be much change in the temps today, it is 42 now and the high is to be 52.  It wasn't raining when I let the dogs out on chain, but it sure was damp.  We have a regular meals delivery today.  John is actually thinking of going and sitting in Jerry's treestand tomorrow on opening day in case the other hunters in the area push a deer through our property.  He always gets his license even if he doesn't get out there and hunt actively anymore.  It must have something to do with the weather forcast.....

Posynut, that inside work is always there!  I hope you found some time for fun.

CdnGlassLady, hey, that's the way to look at a little rain! Yea!  Glad you stopped by.

Tommytoe, I hope the church has a successful yard sale.

Terry, I don't blame you for liking to be outdoors.  That is part of why we enjoy gardening, in season.

Doris, organizing photos -- what a great job.  I did our anniversary pics, but there's so many others not done, maybe this winter.

Swordbird, we had a busy day, too, went out shopping when the rain started, and had lunch at a little Greek restaurant on the way home.  Always a good meal there.

EVERYONE,  enjoy your day and have a special weekend.

Good Morning Marcie!

Currently 35º and the temperature will be about the same here today as yesterday also.

A lot of work to finish up today.... a lot of aches and pains...but it sure feels good to get  things accomplished. Always been a busy person. We limit the deer hunters here. We do have some poachers that come in to the area unfortunately. So we do post our property. There always seems to be a few that will ruin it for others. We had some dogs passing through yesterday and was wondering if the owners knew that they should restrain them before deer season starts. I always feel sorry for the dogs when the owners don't seem to care where they are.

Will you be having hosting a Thanksgiving dinner this year?

We are fortunate enough to have everyone in for another year.

I seem to be on here rather hit and skip lately...but when I am I always look for your post.

You have a great day.....I'm going back for a second cup.CoffeeRight Hug

Good morning Marcie! Today won't be as busy, but I am constantly listening to hammering on the house. Because of that hammering and other work, I do not have any birds at my feeders! Hopefully when they are all finished, and after I fill my feeders again, the birds will return, and I will again have the joy of watching them.

Hello to you this morning.  Here it is dark and gloomy.  Temp. in 40's today and damp, not raining right now.

My DS is home today on a vacation day.  Going to sight his gun in and has to make a visitation to funeral home, too.  He is planning on deer hunting Monday.  I hate the hunting season.  Can always hear shots here from the woods in the area as the sounds carry.  Worry about a stray bullet hitting near here from one of the hills nearby, you never know, they do carry far sometimes.  Not sure what I am doing today yet, but always have plenty.  Need to finish unloading the dishwasher the first thing.  Started it last night, but then didn't finish for some reason.

Let every day be a good day!

Hi Marcie,

This is our  third 36º frosty morning in a row, it's 58 sunny degrees now. There's a 80%and 50% chance of rain this weekend, that  could mess up the Pow Wow we want to  attend about 15 minutes from here. The kids are going to the FSU game Saturday, we won't have to make a  visit there.

I had  coffee and oatmeal before  taking a morning walk, I didn't see any critters. The creek is almost  at normal level, the rain coming  could change that. I cleared for two more hours after  one yesterday, I might  do the same today.

I like to "clear" trails and paths by hand, I  could rent a bobcat and make a  big  change in a short amount of time here.

Good afternoon. Iam at our cousin's house and thought I would check in. It is soooo warm and the guys are grousing that it is going to be warm hunting tomrrow. They are also calling for rian the beginning of next week. Should get colder later in the week. If there are any deer hanging during opeing weekend Monday they will cut them up and make hamburger and freeze it. So it will not spoil. We will be doing some shopping tomrrow and play cards.

Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!!! See you all in a couple of weeks.

Good evening.  It sounds like the wind is really blowing.  The house has gotten cold enough DH started a fire in the wood stove.  It sure feels good.

I paid bills this morning then went to pick up DS and get a massage.  The electricians were here and had the electricity turned off from 8:30 until around 2:30 so I couldn't do much any way.  This afternoon DS and I took DH to town to pick up the tractor after it had gotten new back tires put on.  Those things aren't cheap!  Around $2500 for the two tires.  DS helped me clean the church before we came home.

I hope everyone had a fun day.
