Great shot sooty.  Actually makes that bird more fun to look at. LOL

Getting older is fun--getting old should be avoided.

Lovely, lovely photos everyone.  I am so excited when I look at this thread each day.  Like a kid in a candy store.  So many pretty birds.  Thanks for sharing.

Jean great picture of th blue grosbeak.

Ed  another wonderful warbler.  So far I have only gotten two decent warbler spieces.

Steve great bluebird shots.  And the birdbath isn't even frozen.  LOL

Birdlady love that white-throated sparrow.  What a pretty bird.  I got that one when I visited Ed in SC a couple years ago,

Lovefinch and Pacman nice juncos.  Ours have passed through.

Jack more great hummers and scrub jays.

Granny the titmouse is my favorite bird.  Lucky you.

Soot house sparrows can be very pretty.  Someone once said that house sparrows fill a real niche for city people.

Ed,  I hope you will soon see one or better a family.  There is nothing common about the Yellow Throat.  I have never seen one.  One beautiful picture of one!

Steve,  That male Blue looks like he is in charge.  I am pleased he likes my rock.Big Smile

Dan,  No wonder this is your wife's favorite bird.  A very interesting bird.  Love the shots!

Caty,  Great close-up of the WT Sparrow!  I still am waiting for them.

Hi Sunshine,  I hope that one day you will be able to see a Blue Grosbeak.

lovefinch,  Sweet shot of the Junco.  Thanks!

Pacman,  What I like about your shot is seeing the white "chest" on the Junco.:)  It is crazy that we have to use "chest" instead of the B word.

Jack, Stunning shots of both birds.  I really like the Hummer.

Granny,   Such a cute shot of the Titmouse!

Sooty,  How do you always get such good close-ups of your birds?  I agree with Pacman.Big Smile

Stella,  I feel the same way!!!   Thanks for the reply.

Great day Everyone.Yes

Jean neat shot. I've never seen a blue grosbeak and I would love to.
Keep an eye out for the WT sparrows, they are on their way.

Ed gorgeous shot of the Common Yellow Throat.

Steve nice shot of the birds at the hot tub. :)

Dan what a cool looking bird! I love your pictures.
You don't get WT sparrows out your way?

Swordbird my White throated sparrows are usually all gone by now. I'll get them next spring when they migrate through here. Fall is when they stay the longest. I think they follow the food south.

Lovefinch nice shot of the junco in the leaves. I love watching them kick up the leaves in search of food.

Pacman you have a nice junco shot too. They are pretty shy.

Jack I like your hummer and your jay shots. Gorgeous as always.

Grannyfarmer your shot made me chuckle. What a capture.

Sooty nice detail on the house sparrow. They have pretty markings.
