I watch Rachel Ray some days and was noticing how she talks with her hands so much.
Do you use your hands a lot when you talk to express yourself?
My grandmother did this, but I don't catch myself doing it if at all.
have been wanting to ask this and don't know if it's ever been a discussion before.

I don't express myself with my hands but I found out that I do something like my mother, when I'm walking around the yard or something like that I hold my hands behind my back. Seems the older I get the more things I do like she use to.

That's what we call doing the Prince Phillip!!
Always, even when I'm on the phone. Your whole personality goes into the conversation.
"This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24
Quite often I do. And my DH is Italian and you know that is a trait with them, so maybe it rubbed off on me! Italians usually can't talk without their hands! The joke always was what would they do if their hands were cut off. I remember my grandparents saying that and that was surely many years ago.
Let every day be a good day!

I can't talk without using my hands. Cincycarol
Yes, I sure do. I'm Portuguese and we use our hands a lot when we talk. When my family and I are having a conversation one could watch us and by our body language pretty much tell what we're saying. I've noticed that my formerly pretty calm English-born DH is getting pretty animated from being around us, too...lol.
LOL , Yes
I do, but not always or excessively.
My MIL would be unable to speak if you tied her hands! LOL (and DH got it from her!)
