Giddey do you fish? That first boat looks so inviting. Was it a good morning of fishing I wonder?

Thanks for the neat picture. I'll check out yesterdays.

Good morning!

Aw, another view of the boats you posted yesterday on smooth as silk water with what looks like a little fog coming in there on the left.  Lovely, Giddey!

A naturalist friend once told me "Sedges have edges and reeds are round" so I think this might be a picture of sedges (or maybe just weeds) on Benton Lake.  Anyway, I liked the reflection.

Hi, Marcie!  I'm glad you're still checking in.

Hello, Janis!  Giddey had the best boat pictures, doesn't he?

Giddey and Marge you never cease to amaze with your great pics!  Marge where in MI are you at?   I'm close to Lansing and Jackson.  We have property in Harrison as well!  Love love love it up there . . my parents live in Clare.

Something about Michigan!

GiddeyUp - Pretty shot of the boats - do I see fog coming off the water?  Marge - pretty shot of the water (and sedges?)  Here is a Hummingbird from this summer.

I swear those boats are sitting on glass.... and that mist to the left is fantastic.  I like your rhyme about sedges have edges, Marge!  I especially love the blue and beige colours together.

Lovefinch- your hummingbird pics always amaze me... looks like that little fellow is perched on some clematis or something.

I wish I wood have found something more interesting to take pics of while i waited for the dog to do her business. but I could knot find anything lol

Aw... what a proud mama she is Naturelover... In the field where I walk I see SO many deer prints but only rarely do we come upon a deer and we are usually so mutually startled that I have no time to get the camera ready and it is gone before I gather my wits

Stop it, Gid! It is just not right to have boats floating in air! LOL
Those are just incredible!

Pretty weedies, Marge.. Love the reflection! That is nice!!

Sweet little lady, lovefinch! She is purdy!

OHhh, naturelover! The are beauties!

Well, Sparrow! Wood is always interesting! In the middle stick of wood on top, there is either a Texas longhorn MOO or a flying duck with wings outspread! In the last one to the right.. you have yourself a pretty flower, but it fell over to the left.. Looks like a big sunflower! The bottom one has some Japanese writings on it.. but I can only speak a few words of Japanese and not read it.. I think it says we are all pretty silly, though!
That last shot is pretty flakey! giggle

It really has to be a record for November.. to have tropical flowers still in bloom and butterflies still in bloom! Gulf Fritillary enjoying a sip of nectar! I think the flower is a Duranta..

Sparrow,  looks like you are stocked up and ready for winter!    And yes, you made a wood pile look interesting!  :)    Petals,  beautiful shot of whatever kind of butterfly that is!   Some of my flowers are still blooming too, but see only bumble bees and a few cabbage butterflies still sipping the flowers here. .  Crazy weather, but I'll take it!  lol

This is a far cry from Giddey's pics but Sidney and I drove out to a lake about 30 miles from home Sunday and took these...

this is at the marina
