We've had some new folks join us on this thread the last few days and I want to welcome you to this thread and veggie gardening. Want to say thanks to the regulars that post most every day. Looking forward to more pictures from your neighborhoods, veggie gardens (if you have something still growing) or vacation trips you may take.
This is a picture from the green way on Monday. This little bird was sitting on the bank of the Reddies River.
Steve, Cool picture of the House finch or is it a sparrow?
Here is a picture of my yard/garden taken last summer. Oh how I miss summer.

Steve, nice framed in shot of the bird! Paleface, pretty garden spot.....looks like a B&B page!
Doe with her young buck.
Sidney and I drove to a lake about 30 miles from home Sunday afternoon and....
Great pics so far everyone! Good diversity, too, which is what I love about this pic thread. I just posted a bird pic in fall photo tips mostly to get advice from folks on it and to tell Dan that I used his Dancam for that one! Didn't think I wanted to post it in here even though Steve posted his nice bird pic today!! I have to figure out yet what I will post here and wanted to first see if some sort of theme was going on yet but looks like not! So I'll be back pretty soon here. Later!

Wilma Is this lake the Houseboat capital of the world?
Great pictures this morning.
Jaguae, it is called Laurel Lake... not sure what part of the state you are in. I think you told me once but...........
Wilma, though it could be Dale Hollow.
I am west of Bowling Green.
Jean... Nice picture of your yard/garden. Those flowers and the hummingbird feeder make me miss summer even more than I already do. The bird in my picture I think is some kind of sparrow.
Naturelover... Great picture of the deer. Deer are so pretty to see out in the wild but they sure can damage a garden......... and a car too lol.
Wilma... Good picture of the lake and marina. I always think lakes and water falls makes for good pictures.
Jag, Been to Dale Hollow about 30 years ago.... This lake is between London and Somerset on the old 192 hwy. if you know where that is...
Steve - you are always showing off your cabbage..............WELL here's mine, taken today, and I'm still waiting.........lol.......Should I give up?
Oh nice pics but my favorite is the deer! We have them in our yard and sometimes that's a pain especially when they eat my hostas!
I even like Susan's cabbage shots!
Great pics, everyone! Cute little mini-cabbages, Susan!! LOL!!
Mine are a couple of the Bald Eagle families sitting in trees along the Mississippi River. They were everywhere in the trees and flying. We went across the river to Wabasha, MN to get gas (25 ¢/gal. cheaper) They have a Bald Eagle Center there where we will probably go another time.

Badhair, now THAT'S my kind of boat! lol Steve & Kimmer58, so far so good as far as the deer invading my garden or flowers...and I keep my fingers crossed everytime I drive somewhere! Susan, no...don't give up yet...they still look fine..maybe try covering them with buckets if it frosts! Go for it! :) Woodlandgal, love the eagles....so majestic!
Waste not want not. a chimmy insert as a flower pot.
