I live in North Carolina, not sure if you guys have heard about this or not. It is sick and disgusting and people like this should never be allowed to walk the streets again.
Two held in disappearance Police arrested Mario Andrette McNeill, 29, on Friday and charged him with first-degree kidnapping in the case. Investigators said McNeill has admitted to taking Shaniya from her home, and hotel security video from a Comfort Suites in Sanford last Tuesday appears to show him carrying her. Shaniya's mother, Antoinette Nicole Davis, 25, was arrested late Saturday and charged with human trafficking, felony child abuse–prostitution, filing a false police report and obstructing a police investigation. Arrest warrants state that Davis "did knowingly provide Shaniya with the intent that she be held in sexual servitude" and she "did permit an act of prostitution with Shaniya."
Shaniya's body was found yesterday in a wooded area near her home. All she had on was a t-shirt. No other info has been released yet and nobody has been charged with her murder yet.

They need to be put away; they are missing a few screws and downright low to do anything like that. I saw it on TV. They better charge someone with the murder. Both need to be punished for acts such as these.

It is just so hard to believe that a mother could do that. I feel so sorry for this girl's father. He must be going through so much guilt in letting the mother have the girl. She was a beautiful girl.
How very sad that this could happen to any child. It breaks the heart of anyone who has lost a child. it leaves you empty to hear of such things,the only comfort is that I know she is with Jesus now. God love this child. I don't think there is punishment enough for anyone who would do this kind of a thing.

I just heard about this today. I just don't understand people anymore, not one bit. And I'm sick of people like this using drug and alcohol addictions as a lame excuse, or that they were abused as kids, or whatever other excuse they want to us. They know damn well what they are doing.
but to do this to your own child?
There was an article in our newspaper recently regarding sex offenders complaining that they were not able to go wherever they wanted and the government was infringing on their rights as free American citizens.
in my opinion a sex offender has no rights - they gave their "rights" away the minute they committed the crime.
Where they found her body is less than 20 miles from where I live. A sad story indeed..........

definintely a slow burning death perhaps in an electric chair . . definitely prison for life but makes you wonder about judges and the other radical groups around. We live in a sick sick world . . .

I can no more imagine what that poor child went through during her last days than what her father is going to go through for the rest of his life. I hope he can find peace and comfort. What a wicked world, where there are men who would rape a child and women who would sell their own children.
