Coffee  Good morning!  Just a degree above freezing today, though should recover to about 50 later.  We had to do one of the longer runs for meals on wheels yesterday so didn't get much done outdoors like we expected to do.  Today we will do our regular run, so maybe can get outdoors for awhile.

Sharon, I vote with the deer during gun season.  I like to watch them all year round.  I don't think I would want a skunk season.

Sherry, I do hope all who hunt have a safe season.  When John hunted they butchered their own and alwayss made sausage.  I used to make venison sauerbraten.

Posynut, surprising the things one learns on here. Thanks for mentioning coupons at the $ store.

Swordbird, nice to see you again.  Your birds will be back as it gets colder and they are depending on you.

Doris, glad to hear of the progress in the bathroom.  They probably want to be finished to go on to another job.

Terry, I brought my cereus in when it dropped in the 40's.  I'll bet you start working on the old driving trail, the way you were talking.

EVERYONE,  have a pleasant Tuesday!!

Good morning.... wow its windy today......... maybe it will blow the rest of the neighbors leaves away.......They never come back up here to the lake to clean up their mess...They have huge trees that fill the neighborhood with leaves, but they close up for the winter and dont return...We who are left here have to deal with the mess.....but maybe the winds will take the leaves out to the back fields........... heres hoping anyway..

Our neighbor on the other side passed away on Sunday, so this evening we are going to the viewing... She was an English lady whom I loved.and enjoyed talking too... at 88 she sure had some great stories........ we had tea and cookies almost every nite.......

Well work awaits me.............have a great day.

Good Morning Marcie!

Trying this again...I seem to be having computer problems this morning..so will keep this short. Currently 47º and the high for today should be 67º according to the forecast. Another dry day for us,, but with cloudy skies. Might be a tiny chance of rain. Laundry, cleaning, and the same old...same old.....LOL

I hope you get to enjoy a nice day outside today......have a good one!

Nice bright sunny morning even though it was frosty and foggy earlier.  Man coming to haul my lawn debris away at 10 am.  Then I have household jobs to do and some errands today or tomorrow.  No rest for the wicked!

Let every day be a good day!

Good morning.  It's 34° and to be mid 40's today.  Lots of sunshine today.

DH has a college boy coming to help him this morning.  The carpenters will be back to finish mudding the dry wall and deer hunters are still around.  Yesterday was pretty much a zoo around here.  Either someone was here or the phone was ringing.  The Dish Network serviceman ate lunch with us.  He is the son of some people I worked for several years ago.  It was a great surprise to see him.  I got caught up on all his family.

I'm not sure what I'll do this morning.  THis afternoon is bowling, visiting mom, maybe cleaning the church and going after DH.  He is taking a tractor to a mechanic close to the town where DS lives.  Then DH has some errands to do while we are over there.

Everyone, please enjoy this beautiful day!

Doris

Morning Marcie and all. man, if I don't get up before Jerry he is on the puter for hours!!! Cause he types soooo slow LOL Guess I will have to get the lap top out in the mornings. Cool, cloudy and windy today. Got lots of laundry, get things ready for the cottage. I really look forward to this, for me very relaxing cause at the cottage while the guys hunt, and all the kids are at the cousin's. I go over every once in awhile and it gets very hectic!!!! Sure do love those kids though. Guess I best get going, hope you all have a good day

Hi Marcie, I brought our plant in when it hit 45º. I might need to bring in our  large cacti tonight, chance of temps in the  mid 30's.

We started at 60º and it's dropped, now it's 54 overcast and windy degrees. I took a two mile  walk and looked at  what I had cleared around  on the north property. I still need to  finish my other trail over here, it's just now drying off.

I had grits, toast and  coffee before my walk, fed the garden pond  fish and filled our seed feeder.

It's rainy and gloomy this morning but not complaining, it could be snow!
