I thought this was such a good picture of our state capitol with the fall coloring.

That is very cool...are the leaves still there?  We've had wind for the last 2 days and it has blown most of the leaves down.  Charlene

Beautiful picture Kathy. All of the leaves that have turned are on the ground now but still a lot of green ones on the trees.

Kathy, that is a gorgeous pic!  It's too bad all those colors last only for such a short time.

I would like to see fall as our longest season! LOL!

What a nice picture.  It is so clear.  You must have a sophisticated camera to get a shot like that.  Thanks for sharing.

Very pretty, Kathy! thanks for taking the time to share. Fall is my favorite season - love the colors. I noticed today we do have a few smaller trees with yellow leaves still hanging on that are not oaks.

I didn't mean for anyone to think I took the picture. I haven't been to Pierre in years, lol. It was just a picture posted on our news site and I thought it was a pretty fall picture so I copied it and posted it on here.

Tee Hee. I kept coming back for the answer. somehow I didn't think she would have gone that far for the pix. But it was just a hunch! alma

Beautiful picture and colors.  Autumn is so nice, but short and unpredictable some years, too.  Leaves stayed on long time this year here and they were later turning, too.  I still have lots of brownish ones hanging on a maple tree that aren't down yet.

Let every day be a good day!
