At our office nobody actually takes their breaks. When I worked in production plants we usually shut down the whole operation or had a break team that came around and gave us breaks from the line.
When I worked in a bank and in a grocery store we were required to take our breaks. Restaurants and office jobs I've had, have no scheduled breaks. It's OK to take a break but nobody actually does.
What's it like where you work?
I just take a break when I feel like it. Nobody pays attention to what anyone else does.
Yes we do a 15min at 0:900 ane one at 1:30

I work in a small factory. I go in at 6am and get off at 2pm. we have three 10 min.breaks.Everybody take's the breaks.
We don't take a 30 min. lunck break, this way we get off at 2 not 2:30 (everybody voted on it).
When I was working as Office Manager, we had no set time for breaks. We could get coffee or go to the restroom whenever, providing we remained in the office in case something came up. Often time, when things were slow, we'd socialize in the reception area or individual's offices. Nobody abused the privilege and it made for a more pleasant working enviornment.

We were allowed to take them, but i very seldom did. But the smokers took breaks over the ones allowed. We had a 30 min lunch break, but most took an hour as nothing was happening in our dept. at that time. At 1 o'clock things got busy..
I had 30 minute lunch (not paid), and a 10 minute break in morning and 1 in the afternoon. I did take them if I possibly could. Some days I was too busy or in a meeting or getting ready for one. It was a union thing and we were entitled to the breaks regardless. But, when I could take them, I did. I was a smoker at the time, so coffee and cig were necessary! However, when I retired by then you couldn't smoke anywhere in the building or on the property itself, even in your own car. So would have to take a car ride or go across the street to smoke. By then, I gave up the breaks when I had to go to that extreme. It is a drug-free place so the sign says now so anyone caught smoking on the property can be arrested. It is an elementary school and all high school athletic fields are there, too. I still see the janitors outside across the street on their breaks when I go down that way during their breaktime.
Let every day be a good day!
In every job I've had, I rarely took a break. I hated not to, but felt I needed to keep working in order to get the job done. I'm talking about being a CNA in a nursing home and working in a factory. I am not working at the time.

When I was working I usually took my 15 minute break in the morning and afternoon. When you are doing data entry or paperwork, you really need that break. You return to your job (somewhat) rested and more productive.
At my most recent job in the docs office, there was no such thing as a break. We ate at our desks while working and that was that.
My best job was at the gourmet shop in NYC. I should never have left there. LOL
we would get 2- 10 minute breaks and a half hour lunch during an 8 hour shift.
I work as a merchandiser. Set my own schedule & work by myself with no supervision. I take no breaks, even for lunch but I could if I wanted to. I like to go in, do the job(s) &n go home. I'm usually home by 3.
I was told I got my break when I was hired.
