Woodpeckers

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to keep woodpeckers away from my cedar shingles?

Hi messemerm,

My daughter and son-in-law had a couple of woodpeckers pecking on their wood siding.  I told them to scare them off and after a few times the woodies finally moved on. 

You could try posting this question on the Bird Watching Forum to get more answers or ideas.
