Once in a while I will buy stick oleo or butter and I have a butter server from Tupperware that is quite old and I use it but usually I use soft spread oleo and don't use a butter dish. My sisters just use a small salad plate for stick butter for the holdays so that it matches the dinnerware.

I have a Tupperware butter dish, gosh I don't know how old it is,  around 40 years old at least. It holds a pound but now that it's just the 2 of us I put a half pound in at a time, I have a nice crystal one for special occasions,

No don't use one. I have not thought of them in a long time. We just take what we want out of the tub with a knife. Vicki

I don't even own one.  Just use a salad plate if needed which is rarely.

I have proper butter dishes, but do not use them.  I use a small saucedish and only put in enough for a couple days.  Some people get crumbs in the butter, and that irks me!  I also have butterknives that get shoved to the side!

That's an easy question for me. There is just the two of us and neither one of us eats bread so, nada

I have several glass butter dishes, but I only use them for a *fancy* meal. Usually I cut up a couple sticks of margarine and put them into an old margarine bowl. I can't stand the tub margarines (they're all full of water now and I can't stand wet toast--so are a lot of stick margarines, so I have to be really careful what I buy) any more, but I like the convenience of the bowl. The sticks soften up nicely and are easy to spread.

I honestly don't care all that much for real butter. Never had it growing up, so my taste buds got accustomed to margarine.

Yes I have a butter dish with a lid.  I can't lift the 3 lb tubs of margarine that I buy - too heavy for me beause of arthritis in my hands.

Yes I have one for everyday that has its own little shelve in the refrigerator door and I have a lidded one that matches my good china. I use them all the time don't know how I would do it otherwise. We try not to use much but butter not margarine please.

I have one, never use it. I only purchase the tubs of Smart Balance. I just set it on the table, and otherwise it is in the frig.
