Anyone can start this post, k ...
That WAS definitely worth the wait this a.m. this is an old firetruck.....in case you couldn't tell
An old beauty, Wilma !
Maury County (my home area) is blessed with about 12 or so Antebellum homes of indescribable beauty... Most of them are less than 10 miles from me, so I can enjoy the view. This is Lipscomb Place just down the road a bit.. I heard a rumor there were some pretty birds down there, so Wednesday, I went huntin'!
I had a friend who owned this place, and it is nothing less than spectacular inside and out...
The barn is not a barn anymore. It is "finished" to some degree inside for parties and other fun usages.. There are lofts in it that are massive playgrounds..
The rumor I heard of BIRDS held true... There were indeed birds!
Isnt he GORGEOUS!
That is one pretty place Petals... did you find any birds when you went huntin' ? Well, I reckon you DID find some pretty birds....
I could barely tell that was a firetruck.. It is so RED! ROFLThat is a beauty! and totally wonderful!
WOW ! I can see why U were a bit anxious to get goin', lol !
What a beautiful place ! I'd love to be able to check out the barn ! lol !
Great picture of the Swan !!!
That was what my son took my GD to the prom in last spring... it really got the attention,,, he started blowing the air horn before they came around the corner of the school as they went in the back and he was in full turnout gear... made me cry and several more too..
If I ever get up earlier than you Giddy I will start your photo post for the day. We were all lined up like kids at the matinee this morning waiting on you LOL. Your seascape is beautiful with those huge majestic rocks and those itsy bitsy teensy weensy yellow flowers.
A beaut of an old firetruck, Badhair. I always think the old firetrucks look like they must be female. So rounded and reliable. Weird thought.
Those are absolutely wonderful PP... imagine living in a place like that! Course all I can think of is how much work it would take for upkeep. Best if you get to go visit, that's for sure! The swans are beautiful!
Yesterday it was a ridiculously hot +13C here! (YAY) Almost all our snow melted! (YAY2) The dog was deliriously happy about that!

Sparrow, was the puppy dancing a happy dance or wanting to shake hands.. glad you had a heat wave!!!
That is neat, badhair! How fun and memorable!
Gid, the present owners are not nearly as gracious and hospitable as the lady I knew who lived there. There are 3 antebellums within a few miles of there.. It is a wonderful county to explore the past...
Awwwwww Sparrow, that is so cute! and you got SUN SPARKLES! YEA3!!
