Another pot residing in the greenhouse for winter.
How nice to be able to see some things flowering inside. My new planting box contains my Lantana, some geraniums and BE susans I potted now.
Imagine my surprise when I found this rose bud in November!

I have another gladiolia pic to share...
For those of you that think these are still blooming in my yard...they aren't ! We have had 2 nights in the teens, so everything is done a long time ago. I "stock piled" some pics in an album to have pics for this thread. Charlene
Charlene, you have some of the most unusual and pretty glads I have ever seen!
Cold weather is upon us and no growing here...so I went into Photobucket to see what I had..
Here I have a daylily...
Despite the cold temp. here, this is a picture I took yesterday morning. I was doing my AM tour of the gardens, when I realized there was still quite alot of flowers struggling to bloom. Perhaps they received some protection from the over-hanging trees, but we had severe winds during last wkd, so there isn't many leaves left. I had to take a sheet of ice off the birdbath. Must be time to plug it in.

Sherry I love that daylily. Do you know it's name? I have a picture of my perennial geraniums. I have been very happy with this variety, it has been blooming since early summer and is still going strong.
Cosmos....I think it is the Siloam Doodle Bug by my records. I get most of my daylilys from Spring Hills. Here is what it said by the picture:
Elegant 3-4 " blooms have lemon yellow to cream petals with deep burgundy black eyes and dark green throats. Grows 20-25" tall.
Cosmos do you know the variety of your Per. Geranium? I have the white and it only blooms in late spring then not again all season.
Molly, It looks like a crainesbill to me but not 100% positive that one is. Mine bloom twice if I trim them back after they bloom. Mine get so huge that I have to trim them because they take up too much room and then they bloom again...
I bought a couple of pots of impatiens and begonia's in the house, hope I have enough light! Wish I had a greenhouse. Oops! Just remembered I put some flowers out in my coldframe.
With the first storm we had this Bouganvillea felt and broke, I don't know if it will come back...
Hi Molly,
It is a crainsbill but I will have to look up the variety. I think I still have the tag at home. I won't be home again until 11/5 in the evening. But I will try to find the tag when I get there. I have several crainsbill geraniums that bloom in the spring but this is the only one that blooms all summer and fall.
Jeanne
Thanks for the reply Sherry.
It's a cranesbill geramiun and the variety is " Jolly Bee"
