Good morning! We start today at 42, but only going up to 50. (maybe) Both dogs are back in. I am ready for a busy day, going to vote before we go to deliver meals. If it doesn't rain, they are going to get more wood out this afternoon. I am slowly adjusting to the time change. I cut some bittersweet for deccorating yesterday.
GiddeyUp, I loved the pleasant sunny day we had yesterday.
Posynut, I got all the fleece items ready to use. I'm looking for another fall sweat shirt.
Sherry, had company for supper last night - beef, sweet potatoe fries and mixed veggie. The sweet potato fries are homemade.

Morning marice and friends. A sunny but cold start to the day. ONly 31º. Yesterday was a lot warmer. We will be doing some more yard work today, Picked up the electiric grinder yesterday.Should make things easier for the guys. We are going to try and have my SIL's 60th birthday party this week Was going to have it two weeks ago and surprise her, but the kids got sick. We will see how it goes. Not much else doing here today, hope everyone has a good Tuesday
Good morning. It was 44 at 5:30 this morning. We had a hard wind blow all night. Our house sure was chilly even with the wood fire going.
My day went as planned but DH's didn't. He'll take the horse up today after his load of feed is delivered this morning. I'm editing my surveys, doing laundry and a little cleaning this morning. This afternoon I'll bowl, clean the church and visit mom as usual.
DS forgot he was scheduled to work yesterday so he was a couple hours late. He thought he worked Wed., Thurs. and Fri. Instead he works Mon., Wed and Fri. We should have taken him home Sun. evening I guess. I think he'll check his schedule a little closer from now on. lol
I need to print some pictures of a horse for DH. He thought the horse would be gray when he registered him with the American Quarter Horse Assn. Instead he is a bay so he needs to send AQHA pictures to prove what color he is so it can be changed on his registration papers.

Hi Marcie,
I'm not going to move the boxes until after Joyce takes a look at them. We need the storage space in the barn for the "stuff" that we're keeping from Granny's.
We started at 44º and it's 62º now. I got out and cleared some more so we can see the creek better from the front window, I do a little at a time. I'm going to get it so I can keep it clear with the lawn tractor and maybe pull Joyce to the creek in the wagon, it's about 325' to the creek from the front of the house.

Just a quick hello this noontime. Have a banana cake in the oven and time to grab some lunch now. Have the dishwasher going; it was full. Think I will bake a ham and take it to my DS today along with potatoes in it. I had an 8 lb. one cut in half at the grocery store yesterday. So may bake the other for us at the same time. Left in fridge rather than freezer as was trying to decide on cooking it. Might as well as already have the oven on for the cake. Even if it is done way ahead of time it can be reheated for the supper meal. I have macaroni salad made from the other day.
It is cold, windy but some sun outside. It is damp from the rain earlier. At least no snow anyway.

It's in the 50's and sunny here today. A little frosty this morning.
I had a lot of errands to run today so I didn't get much accomplished here. Tomorrow is another day. Gathered my Halloween decorations and left the fall ones in place.
Unplugged the halloween lights but will leave them in place until it's time for the Christmas lights. I have a floral fall decoration on the porch that I trim with the orange mini- lights.
Not much new going on here. They said it may snow a little this week. Don't like the time change. It is light earlier here, and that's nice, however it's temporary.
Going to enjoy the changing season anyway. Might as well. Soup is on for supper.
