Good morning everyone! It is Monday again, the start of a new week. There are many things to do, places to go, people to see, etc. I am home today, which is wonderful. I will be doing around-the-house stuff, and other things.
Feeders are full, and should be good for a week. Saw three Chickadees this morning at the feeder. Hope to see other Birds as well.
ALL have a wonderful day!

Good Morning Swordbird,
Now that is one interesting quote. You must be enjoying the book.:) Isn't that cool how Hummers eat nectar? I only have Carolina Chickadees. It is always nice to have Dees around.
I hope more birds visit your feeders. I have to fill mine at least every two days. Maybe I need larger feeders. ....And a Wonderful day to you also!

Hi Everyone
Just have time today to show one of my little guys. The "bangle" on his head is a real snowflake.

Good morning Swordbird!
My quote for today is "my little chickadee" by W. C. Fields. It seemed appropriate.
This is my bird picture of the day as well.
Jean -- I read that "qoute" a while ago, and thought it sounds good enough to use on this thread. I amd loving the books, and am on the second one (The Two Towers). I saw American Goldfinches, a House Sparrow, and I think a Dark-Eyed Junco or two.
Larkie -- Great quote today.
Carol -- That's a great picture! Love the snowflake!
BirdLady -- I did see the picture on Jean's thread, but thank you for sharing it on this thread!

oldguy -- Love the quote, it is perfect for the season. I don't think I knew that fact about Hummers.
Did you know the ruby-throated hummingbird has been known to migrate up to 2500 miles?
A quote about hummingbirds....
"Hummingbird shows us how to re-visit the past for the purpose of releasing it instead of being caught in a permanently backward flight pattern. It also helps us to see that if we step aside we may see our life differently. Hummingbird teaches us to transcend time, to recognize that what has happened in the past and what might happen in the future is not nearly as important as what we are experiencing now. It teaches us to hover in the moment, to appreciate its sweetness."
