Does anyone have any ideas about how to landscape the area under and around a birdfeeder? We feed sunflowers year-round; and the area under the feeder is unsightly even though we regularly rake up the hulls. Grass will not grow there so now it's just bare ground. I'd like some ideas on how to beautify this space.
If the feeder is on a pole, how about some decorative gravel or potted plants.
