My DD knows how much I love Hummingbirds...so she sent me a card with this insert and wanted to share it with other Hummer Lovers.

Legends say that Hummingbirds float free of time carrying our hopes for love, joy and celebration.  The hummingbird's delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life's sweetest creation.

Bye, Bye......Little Jewels, I will look forward to your return next April!

Thanks for sharing.  I think "delicate" would be about the last word I would use for these beauties though!

I think its sweet your DH sent you a card about Hummingbirds.  I think Hummingbirds are small and tough - it amazes me they migrate so far.  I really look forward to seeing them again in the spring.

The Hopi's actually have a hummingbird clan and I watched a Hopi grandmother paint hummingbirds on her pottery with hummingbird feathers!  She did beautiful work!  Her pots were very expensive too!

Hey....lovefinch...that's O.K.  Big Smile

Mary Ann,  Now if only I could get my DD to keep up the Hummer feeder I gave HER.LOL!

Granny,  Thanks for sharing that interesting fact about the Hopi.  They really do excel at painted pottery.  I wish I could afford one...or two...or more.:)
