I heard cries like someone was trying to kill Gabby. I didn't know kittens could make that kind of noise. I get to the kitchen and there she is hanging from the kitchen curtains. She had one of her nails caught. She was pulling so hard, I'm surprised she didn't declaw herself.
The curtains are like a lace with holes, but a heavy material. Guess maybe I should think about changing them to something without holes. I've been wanting new curtains anyway. This will make me move faster.
Then she will make her own holes! :)
Oh, I never thought of that Resa lol
Yup when those kitties are little don't change anything until they've gotten big enough to not climb or claw.
No matter what you put up, they will climb it, it's in thier nature.
Well I guess I'll just wait to replace the curtains.
Brenda.............you need to write a book! Surviving kitten to cat-hood lol
LOL
That's an exciting way to start your day!! Bet she was glad to see her momma come to her rescue!! Maybe she will think twice before climbing those curtains again. ~~Stargazer

YEP!!! That's what kitty toenails are for plus scratching human legs.!!
Our newest kitten wasn't going to get declawed!! then I seen where she was putting holes in the patio door curtains. Well she lost her virginity & front toe nails all at once.
Little monkey still jumps up the patio doors. Last week one night DH could hear this 'thump' thump' & discover he had shut the little monkey between the patio glass door & the outside screen door.! And she was stilling doing her jumping jacks. I think she sees the bugs outside & thinks she can catch them. So good thing the toenails are gone or she would be ripping the screen.
